2026 - Here we come

2026 Is starting out with a bang!  We are hoping to have an announcement for a successful breeding of our beautiful Bonnie to the amazing Burrito.  I am also thrilled to have my 1st Sweeps judging assignment in January at the Rose City Classic dog show in Portland, Oregon.  I am so excited to start my judging journey.  I keep telling everyone that my perfect job/retirement plan is to teach Nursing classes online and judge beautiful dogs on the weekends.  What could be better than that!  

We have allot planned this year between 2 litters (which we don't do very often) and multiple dog shows.  We are excited to be participating in the Labrador Nationals in October when it comes to Washington this year.  
Our goal each year is to find one new show that we haven't attended and try it out.  For 2025 we attended the shows in Dixon, California.  Our puppy girl Lindi (Gator x Nelli) made us proud by going Best Puppy in Specialty and then was awarded Reserve Winners Bitch at barely 9 months old.  She is turning in to a miniature version of her mother and she loves to strut her stuff in the show ring.  She is so much fun!

We were also blessed to add Hope to our kennel.  Hope was bred by our dear friend Emily at Desert Haven Labradors and is sired by our boy Bash.  I see her sire in her every day from her goofy personality to her sweet face and loving temperament.  We have allot of youngsters this year and so have exciting things planned.

One of the best things we are excited about is watching our Granddaughter, Scarlett, play with the puppies and hang out with her best friends Rosie and Poppin who absolutely adore her.  She will be a Junior Handler before we know it.  I just haven't broken the news to our daughter that when Scarlett is ready for a puppy it is going to go live at her house lol.
