We are calling this the year of the flood.  Our home flooded in late February and the next few months were concentrating on getting our home back to a livable condition and having a litter puppies.  We bred Nelli to Bash 1 day before our home flooded.  Needless to say we were worried and stressed through her whole pregnancy.  We tried to keep her routine as normal as possible even though we were literally living in only a third of our house.  But, as usual, our dogs proved to be rockstars!  Our friends loaned us their trailer and that's where Nelli and I spent the first month after her litter was born.  Those boys were bomb proof!  One of the things we did during the reconstruction process was make a weird 8 x 23 foot room into 2 rooms.  one of those rooms we designated as the puppy whelping room.  Once it was ready and we could move in that is where the boys finished growing up!  They did great.  They met new people, heard construction noises, saw new sights and just thrived!

Nelli returned to the show ring in September and is looking better than ever and we hope to finish her Bronze Grand Championship before the year ends!

During this time, we brought Beacon home to show through the summer and he now has 10 points, 1 of his majors and will be a new Champion, hopefully, before the end of November when he goes back for a few months to Arizona.
Rodeo and Smack have had their time in the ring and are doing well!  Rodeo completed her Puppy of Achievement, has won her 1st major points and has had multiple class wins and RWBs.  She needs to mature a little and grow a little which is fine since she is barely a year old.

Annie came home from Tennessee, and we are looking for the perfect home for her.  She is on the smaller side but very happy and active.  She would do great in a Junior's home or an active sport dog home.  She has also done some bird retrieval and loves it!  But she isn't going anywhere until the perfect forever home for her comes along.

Our boy Zuko lost an eye this year.  We aren't sure what happened but he got an injury to his eye that turned into an infection.  The eye was removed and he had a long road to recovery.  We weren't quite sure whether he would make it home from the vet at one point but he proved us wrong.  We are just grateful for everyday we have with this big yellow boy we adore.  At 10 years young he still has a lot of life to live!

Mia turned 12 in September!  We are grateful for every single day.
